Aloha, I’m Julia — a conscious mama, author, educator, and the heart behind Awakening into HOME Birth.
Motherhood has been my greatest teacher, especially through the journey of birthing and raising my daughter, Luciana. She is the light that inspires this work — reminding me daily of the beauty, surrender, and strength within us all.
My home birth on Vancouver Island completely changed my life. I moved through fear and into the unknown, and met the miracle of my baby with love, presence, and without the weight of pain. In one powerful moment, I felt myself slipping away from my body — yet it was the embodiment breathwork I had practiced throughout pregnancy that brought me back.
What followed was profound emotional, cellular healing: a release of old stories of not-enoughness, and the tender remembrance that I am love, I am enough. This sacred journey awakened me to inspire other women to trust the wisdom within and to remember the Divine Feminine power that has always been theirs.
